Sir,?Towards the latter part of an epidemic of widespread relapsing fever on the Nilgiris I had occasion to meet with a number of cases of dysentery occurring in relapsing fever patients. Such cases were not met with in the early days of the epidemic. A day or two previous to the fall of temperature of the first pyrexial period, more often at the beginning of the apyrexial period, dysentery starts.
